I'm organizing Secret Santa for 12 people, family and a few friends, and I want it simple and private.
Build one tool: I enter the names, who cannot draw whom (couples, last year's pairs), a spending limit and the exchange date. It draws the names so that everyone gets one person and nobody draws themselves or an excluded person.
Each person opens their own private link, with no login, and sees only who they drew, that person's wish list and the spending limit. They can add or edit their own wish list on the same page.
I do not see who drew whom. If someone drops out I can remove them and re-draw without anyone learning the old pairs, and everyone with a link sees the updated pick. A button copies the group message with the date and limit. Phone friendly.

What you get
- A draw that follows your exclusions and gives everyone one person.
- A link per person that shows their own pick and that person's wish list.
- Wish lists in the same place, which each person can edit.
- A re-draw when someone drops out, without revealing old pairs.
- Your spending limit and exchange date on every page.
What usually gets in the way
- Drawing names from a hat does not work when people are in different places.
- Couples and last year's pairs keep drawing each other, so the draw gets redone.
- Everyone needs a wish list and no one knows where to find it.
- The organizer ends up knowing everyone's secret.
- One person drops out and the whole draw starts again.
The longer story
A Secret Santa draw has two real requirements: nobody learns anyone else’s pick, and the rules about who cannot draw whom are respected. A hat and a group chat manage neither once people are in different places.
An organizer that draws the names for you, with the exclusions you set, and gives each person a private link solves both. The page is built so the organizer is not shown the pairs, which keeps the surprise intact for them too.
Wish lists belong on the same page, so the person shopping can see what the recipient asked for, and a re-draw option covers the person who drops out a week before the exchange.

Potluck sign-up page: who brings what, with allergies and fewer doubled dishes
Guests claim a dish from a link, you see the gaps by category, allergies in one place, and a day-of plan for where everything goes.

I'm hosting a potluck for about 25 people (a Friendsgiving, an office lunch or a neighborhood party) and I want a great meal with no doubled dishes and nobody left out.
Build me a small tool for me as host and a page for my guests. Ask me the date, the headcount and the categories I want covered (mains, sides, desserts, drinks).
Host home screen: how many dishes are claimed by category, what is still missing, and the one thing to do today (for example, nobody has claimed a vegetarian main).
Guest page: a link where guests pick a dish, see what is already taken, and say what they cannot eat. Tell them when a dish is already covered and suggest what is needed.
Allergies and diets in one place, with each dish marked safe or not, and a small printable card for each dish.
When I tell you something changed (two people both bring apple pie), suggest who switches and offer to message them.
A day-of screen showing where each dish goes and the oven and fridge order.
Calm design that works on a phone. Reply with the link when it is ready.
