Move across the country and arrive calm

  • The home screen of a moving plan: six weeks until the truck, one thing to do today in a yellow panel, book your movers, and three more jobs this week including school and vet records.
  • A week-by-week moving plan from week 6 to week 1, with what to do in each week.
  • A pack-by-room screen with a box to open first for the kids, the dog and the basics, and when to pack the kitchen, books and kids rooms.
  • A who-to-tell list for the move, seven of twelve done, each with a status or due date, and a note that the driver license is after the move.
  • A chat where the closing date moves to December 12 and SuperCat moves the truck and utilities and flags the movers to re-confirm, then suggests booking a hotel for the gap.

Example screens of the kind of tool SuperCat builds from this request. Yours is made around your life.

A plan counted back from truck day: the one thing to do today, a week-by-week schedule, a box for the first night, who to tell, and a plan that moves when the date does.

We're moving across the country in about six weeks with two kids and a dog, and I want us to arrive and feel at home quickly, not in chaos.
Build me a small tool that tells me what to do and when, working back from truck day. Ask me the truck date, where we are moving from and to, who is coming and whether we have pets.
Home screen: weeks to go and the one thing to do today. Put the things with lead times first, like booking movers and getting school and vet records.
A week-by-week plan, and what to pack in which week by room, plus a box for what we need on the first night, opened first.
A list of who to tell about the move, with status and the date each is due.
When I tell you something changed (the closing date moves), update the dates and tell me what moved and what to re-confirm.
Say that rules for pets, schools, licenses and utilities differ by state and I should check each one.
Calm design that works on a phone and can be shared with my partner. Reply with the link when it is ready.

What you get

  • One thing to do today, counted back from truck day, with lead times like movers and school records first.
  • A week-by-week plan, with what to pack in which week by room.
  • A box for the first night, packed last and opened first.
  • A list of who to tell about the move, with status and due dates.
  • A plan that moves when the date does, and tells you what to re-confirm.

What usually gets in the way

  • A generic checklist does not know when you are moving, so every task feels equally urgent.
  • Utilities and address changes are remembered the week after the move.
  • Nobody knows which room is packed or who is packing it.
  • The budget for movers, the truck and supplies is spread across notes and receipts.
  • Family keeps asking what is left and when.
The longer story

A move is a long list with a hard deadline, and most of it is waiting for something else: movers book weeks ahead, schools and vets need days to send records, and utilities have to start before you arrive.

A plan counted back from truck day puts those lead times first and spreads the packing across the weeks by room. A box you open first on arrival keeps the first night calm, and when the date moves, the dates move with it.

Requirements for pets, schools, licenses and utilities differ by state and by provider: check each one.

Wedding checklist that counts down to your date, with a guest list and RSVP page

A wedding checklist set to your date, a guest list with replies in one place, a personal reply link for each guest, and a read-only page of the checklist you can share.

Send this to SuperCat

I'm planning my wedding and I want one place for everything instead of a list that goes out of date. The wedding is on a date I will give you, with about 90 guests.
Build one tool: a checklist of the usual wedding tasks grouped by how long before the date they are due (twelve months, nine, six, three, one month, final week), with a due date, who is responsible (me, my partner, a parent, a vendor) and done or not done. I can add, change and remove tasks. Show what is overdue and what is due in the next two weeks at the top.
A guest list with name, side of the family, address, plus-one, meal choice and a reply status. Each guest gets their own reply link, with no login, so a reply lands on the right row; they say yes or no, name the people coming and choose a meal, and I can see and correct every reply. Show counts: invited, replied, attending, meals by type.
A budget with planned and actual amounts by category and who has paid what, with the total against my limit. A vendor list with contact, price, deposit paid and what is still owed.
An unlisted read-only page I can send by link that shows only the checklist and the counts, with no addresses or budget. Phone friendly.
