How to organize a meal train for a family in need, with a sign-up page that shows allergies and drop-off details

Friends open one link, pick a night and a dish, and read the family's allergies, dislikes and drop-off instructions before they cook.

Friends of mine just had a baby and I want to organize a meal train for the next three weeks.
Build one tool: a sign-up page people open from a link, with no login. It lists each night for three weeks and whether it is taken, who is bringing it and what they plan to make. A friend picks a night, enters their name and what they will bring, and can see what others are bringing so the meals vary.
Show the family's allergies, dislikes and favorites, the preferred delivery window and the drop-off instructions, with the address hidden until someone enters a name for a night (a speed bump, not a lock).
I see which nights are open, a list of who is bringing what, and can edit or remove an entry. A button copies a nudge for the group chat about the open nights, and I can change the length if the family needs more weeks. Phone friendly.

What you get

  • A page friends open from a link to pick a night, with no account.
  • What is already planned, so the meals vary.
  • The family's allergies, dislikes and delivery window up front.
  • The address behind the sign-up step, so it is not on the first screen.
  • Open nights at a glance, and a nudge you can copy into the group chat.

What usually gets in the way

  • Messages offering help are scattered and nobody knows which nights are covered.
  • Two friends bring lasagna on consecutive nights.
  • Allergies and dislikes get passed along by word of mouth and some cooks miss them.
  • The family should not have to coordinate anything while they are exhausted.
  • The address and drop-off instructions get repeated in every message.
The longer story

A meal train is a coordination problem at the worst time for the family: they need food on specific nights and cannot spend energy arranging it. The friends who want to help need to know which nights are open and what the family can eat.

One page answers both. Nights show as taken or open, each with who is bringing what, so the meals are not repeated. The family’s allergies, dislikes and delivery window sit where every cook sees them before shopping, and the address sits behind the sign-up step.

The organizer keeps the overview: which nights are open, and a short message to nudge the group when a gap is coming.

Anyone with the link can sign up, so share it only with people you trust.

Potluck sign-up page: who brings what, with allergies and fewer doubled dishes

Guests claim a dish from a link, you see the gaps by category, allergies in one place, and a day-of plan for where everything goes.

I'm hosting a potluck for about 25 people (a Friendsgiving, an office lunch or a neighborhood party) and I want a great meal with no doubled dishes and nobody left out.
Build me a small tool for me as host and a page for my guests. Ask me the date, the headcount and the categories I want covered (mains, sides, desserts, drinks).
Host home screen: how many dishes are claimed by category, what is still missing, and the one thing to do today (for example, nobody has claimed a vegetarian main).
Guest page: a link where guests pick a dish, see what is already taken, and say what they cannot eat. Tell them when a dish is already covered and suggest what is needed.
Allergies and diets in one place, with each dish marked safe or not, and a small printable card for each dish.
When I tell you something changed (two people both bring apple pie), suggest who switches and offer to message them.
A day-of screen showing where each dish goes and the oven and fridge order.
Calm design that works on a phone. Reply with the link when it is ready.
